OUR MISSION
Prisma Art Prize is an art contest born to promote emerging painters and visual artists.
As our name and logo suggests, we want to be a prism that refracts all the possible outcomes of the painting process: we aim to collect and showcase a selection of artworks which is inclusive, diversified and representative of the possibilities that the painting medium gives to artists.
We want to support emerging artists from all over the world by providing € 2000 in cash awards per year and the opportunity to participate in our exhibition at the Contemporary Cluster in Rome, in February 2025. We publish four seasonal calls per year which are open to both professional and amateur painters, without age limit, that use every kind of technique and medium.
Your originality and creativity are greatly welcomed and supported.
INFORMATION
ENTRY FEE
It is possible to submit one to eight artworks by paying the following submission fees.
1-3 artworks €34
4 artworks: €39
5 artworks: €44
6 artworks: €49
7 artworks: €54
8 artworks: €59
It is possible to pay via PayPal, Credit Card (through Stripe) or Bank Transfer. In case of bank transfer, the payment must be made in Euro and any bank fee should be paid by the submitter on top of the submission fee. Stripe will automatically convert any currency in euro. Further details can be found on the submission form on the website. A payment receipt can be requested by sending an email to our contact address.
AWARDS
To the winner of each quarterly edition, selected among the finalist works: €500 cash prize;
To three of the finalist artists: Honorable mention and Interview curated by Prisma Art Prize.
EXHIBITION PRIZE
An open number of finalists artists will exhibith in the collective exhibition at Contemporary Cluster in October 2026 and will be featured in the 5th year Catalogue, to be published before the opening of the exhibition.
DAR MESO ART RESIDENCY
two-week residency at Dar Meso , an artistic institution based in the heart of Tunis, to take place in 2026/2027. This prize is annual and will be announced at the end of the four seasonal editions
CASACON ART RESIDENCY
residency at Casacon Sirolo for two artists, Marche, Italy, to take place in 2026/2027. This prize is annual and will be announced at the end of the four seasonal editions.
PALLAVICINI-DETTORI HOME SHOW
Solo exhibition for an artist in the Home Gallery of Pallavicini – Dettori collectors, to take place in 2026/2027. This prize is annual and will be announced at the end of the four seasonal editions
ISORROPHIA GALLERY PRIZE
solo exhibition for an artist organized by Isorrophia Gallery, to take place in 2026/2027. This prize is annual and will be announced at the end of the four seasonal editions
